Enrolment
Information for all Students
All students studying either undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs are required to enrol online using Access Adelaide which can be access through Unified, the student portal.
A step by step guide to enrolling is provided at the University's online enrolment site. Students should go to this site first for general information about enrolment. A link at this site returns you here for specific program/course information for the Faculty of Sciences.
If you have trouble enrolling please email the Faculty of Sciences Office. State the nature of your problem, along with your student ID number. Include the error ID number from your Access Adelaide session if possible, as this will help us resolve your problem.
All students must read the important information provided in the links below.

The Access Adelaide enrolment system will not prevent you from enrolling in courses that may not count towards your academic program. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are enrolled in courses that satisfy the rules of your academic program. Under exceptional circumstances, variations to these rules are permitted. Students wishing to obtain a variation must apply in writing to the Faculty of Sciences office prior to enrolling. If you enrol in a course that falls outside the rules of your program, and for which you have not obtained specific permission prior to enrolling, you will incur a financial liability (e.g. tuition fee or HECS-HELP debt), your Student Learning Entitlement (SLE) will be consumed, but you will NOT BE PERMITTED to present the course towards your program. This will therefore extend the duration and cost of your academic program. Note: The formal rules for each Academic Program can be found on the University Calendar page. |

Some courses have prerequisite (and, in some cases, corequisite) requirements. For example, you may be required to successfully pass a specific Level I course before being allowed to enrol in a Level II course. Online enrolment allows you to enrol in courses where you have not fulfilled the prerequisite or corequisite requirements. It is your responsibility to make sure that you meet the requisites of the course for which you are enrolling. It is important to note that if you received a Conceded Pass (CP) for a course, this course cannot be presented to satisfy any prerequisite requirements for other courses. Additionally, CP's can NOT be counted towards any major at Level III. Please Note: Due to changes in program rules, all students commencing a program from 2011 onwards will not be permitted to present any Conceded Passes toward their program. |
