Careers@ScienceAlive!

Friday 8th August 2008 9am - 4pm - It's FREE!

All SA high school teachers are invited to register their students now for the first ever FREE Careers@ScienceAlive! day, to be presented the day before the huge Science Alive! event at the Adelaide Showgrounds that last year attracted 20,000 visitors.

Science Alive! is the lead-up event to National Science Week and involves an expo-style format over the weekend of 9th & 10th August with 50 stallholders, science shows, Stardomes, interactive exhibits, electronics, robotics, environmental science, career and study info and lots more. 

Careers@ScienceAlive! will run the day before this and will involve all of the above PLUS a wealth of additional information packaged into 60 minute Science & Engineering Career Seminars that will be repeated throughout the day in the 400 seat Big Top.  Young scientists and engineers will be giving inspirational short talks on the study and career choices they made along the way to the fascinating jobs they now hold.   

Teachers who register their students will be given much more specific information closer to the time.  But to guarantee your place, fill out the Registration Form (pdf 64kB) and email it or fax it to Attention Brian Haddy 08 8391 2323
