Computing Facilities- North Terrace Campus
Where are they?
Computing suites are located in the Mawson Building room G12,
Physics Building room G38, and Johnson Laboratories room 111. Other computers that can be used at any time are available on the ground floor of the Molecular & Life Sciences Building .

What is available?
All suites are fitted with Wintel computers running the Winndows XP Professional operating system, Microsoft Office 2003 and specialist software as prescribed by course coordinators.
Printing Facilities
Laser printing from Digital-Photocopier printers is available from
all suites. All Printers offer special page formatting including: back to back printing, multiple pages per sheet, stapling.
Opening hours
All suites are open from 8.30 am to 6 pm.
After Hours Access
The Huxley suite, located in Room G38 of the Physics building, is available
for after hours access from the beginning of Term 1 of each year. All University of Adelaide enrolled students may freely use the computers and laser printer
located in this room between 6.00 pm in the evening and 8.00 am in the
morning.
Accessing the suite
All students will receive E-mail advice about when they may access this
suite. Usually this will be during the first week of Term 1. When so
advised, visit the University Card Centre to request access. Access
the suite through the external door located at the Plaza end of the
Physics building. Use your ID card to swipe the card reader located
next to this door.
University regulations state that you may not admit any unauthorised
person to this suite. Do not give your card to any other person. Do
not allow any other person to access a computer by illegal use of your
Username and password. Severe penatlies apply for breaches of these
regulations.
Security
This suite is regularly patrolled by University Security staff. Furthermore,
the suite is fitted with two security cameras which monitor activity.
A security telephone provides direct access to the University Security
Office. Use this phone to report personal security concerns, offensive
or in-appropriate behaviour.
